How the facts on this site are chosen, sourced and dated, and how a mistake gets fixed.

Who writes and who stands behind it

Guides, memos and country pages are written by INNOVA Consulting Group. Guides and news carry the byline INNOVA Research Desk, the firm's research desk. The firm is the author and the reviewer; individual bylines are not used.

The pages describe how rules work in practice. They inform and do not replace legal, tax or financial advice for a specific case; an engagement starts with a written scope.

Which sources a fact may come from

Rates, fees, deadlines and regulator names come from primary sources: the tax authority, the company registry, the regulator or the text of the law. Professional-firm tax tables count only as a second source that confirms a primary one.

Source names appear as plain text next to the figure or in the sources line of an article. A fact that no primary source confirms is left out. Where a rule differs by province, state or licence type, the page says which one it describes.

How facts are dated

Every fact in the site's facts registry carries its primary source and the month it was last confirmed. An automated check flags any fact that has not been confirmed for six months, and the fact is re-verified against its source before it stays on the site.

Money pages show a line such as "Reviewed by INNOVA against UAE Ministry of Finance and Central Bank of the UAE. Figures confirmed July 2026." The date shown is the oldest confirmation among the facts on the page: a full day where every fact has one, a month otherwise. Guides and news show their published and updated dates.

Prices and fees

Government fees are named as government fees and come from the authority that charges them. INNOVA's own fee is quoted in writing once we have scoped the task. Figures labelled "from" are the lower bound for a standard scope.

Corrections

If a figure, date or statement on a page is wrong or out of date, write to hello@innovacg.com with the subject "Correction", the page address and, if you have it, the source. A partner replies within 24 hours. A confirmed error is fixed on the page, the page's updated date changes, and a material fix is added to the log below.
